What To Expect
Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT)
The Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) is a comprehensive assessment administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for aspiring educators in the Philippines. The exam is typically conducted twice a year and is open to both elementary and secondary education graduates.
The LEPT evaluates general education, professional education, and specialization subjects (for secondary level), focusing on competencies necessary for effective classroom teaching and educational leadership.
Successfully passing the LEPT qualifies individuals to practice as licensed professional teachers in both public and private institutions.
